IndySnap
See something, snap something.
Indy Snap is a mobile app for halls of residence. Residents photograph a fault, such as a leaking tap or a dead socket, and say where it is. Maintenance staff are alerted, record the repair with a photo of the finished work, and a facility manager signs it off. The resident who reported it can confirm that it is fixed.
Who uses it
Residents and staff of an organisation that has set up Indy Snap. People join with the code or QR on their organisation's poster, or by invitation from its admin. Each organisation sees only its own halls, people and reports.
Emails we send
- A one-time code when you sign in. You ask for it by entering your email address in the app.
- An invitation, when an admin of your organisation invites you as a member of staff.
- A monthly summary to admins, with the fault log attached.
We send no marketing email. If you received a code you did not ask for, you can ignore it; nobody can sign in without it.
What we keep
- Your email address and the name you choose.
- The faults you report: place, type, notes and photos. You can report anonymously, which hides your name from everyone, including admins.
- For staff: the repairs you record and sign off.
Photos are stored privately and shown only to signed-in members of your organisation.
